Its the first reassuring thing he`s heard since he`s been at these camps. The doctor who he trusted to opperate on his foot. He felt as if that as long as he was in there , he was safe . They didnt have the luxery of saftey in those camps, so this to him was a rare, cherished thing .

"I`ve got more faith in Hitler than in anyone else. He`s the only one who`s kept his promises, all his promises, to the jewish people." (Wiesel 87)

He`s trying to say that no one has helped, or kept their word about what would happen to them, except Hitler. Thats a sad thing. That the only promises kept to them were the ones speaking of their death and destruction. He`s saying that if they should have faith in anyone it should be the one who`s kept his promises, no matter what those promises were.

Quote Analysis

1. “I wanted to run away, but my legs were glued to the ground. Idek seized me by the throat” (Wiesel 64).

Its showing his true traits, that he was too scared or tired to care. That he wanted to do something but couldnt . And he was powerless to whatever was holding him to that spot.

2. "She`s mad, poor soul..." (Wiesel 34)

Its trying to say what she`s seen, or heard. The things people went through gave them nightmares, and it shows how it can change someone so much.

Saving Face

        Curley's Actions In Chapter 3 Say That He Cares About The Way He Looks, More Than He Cares About Others & How It Effects Them. And Yeah There`s Been Some Times When Me & My Friends Have Acted Out Of Pride Just So We Wouldn't Look Stupid. And It Did Hurt Some People, I Almost Lost My Best Friend Because Of It. She Was Really Hurt. But I've Been Hurt Too, Its Because I Trusted Someone I Shouldn't Have, & It Backfired.
         And Trying To "Save Face" Is Stupid, And If Your Selfish Enough To Do It .. Then I Don't Know. Its A Human Reaction But, Not A Good One. Yes I Think Its Cowardice. Its Not Right & People Should Get Over There Pride & Shove It.

Perfect World

       Hey, Just Saying. A P e r f e c t World Doesnt Exsist . But If There Was It Would Be ALOT Better Than This One. Even Though Our World Isnt As Bad As Harrison Bergeron`s, We Still Make Fun Of People For What There Good At If Its Not "Cool" .
       A Perfect World Would Be A Place Where We Didnt Have To Hide Our Talents, And Get Made Fun Of For Being Good At Somthing. We Wouldnt Have To Just Be Average, We Could Show Off What Were Good At. I Don't Want Every One To Be Equal, I Mean We Should be treated As Equals, But Not All Be Exactly Equal...
      A perfect World Should Be, Well Imperfect. It Doesnt Have To Be A Bunch Of Fake Barbie, & Ken Lives. That Would Be Boring. E x t r e m l y . Imperfection Is Interesting, Exciting, Different. I Wanna Have An Excepting World. A World Without War. Somthing Nice, But Not Too Nice. You Know What I Mean?
       I Want A Happy World, No Sadness, Heart Breaks. I Just Want Happy. And Love. But Sadly; A PERFECT WORLD WILL NEVER EXSIST. Its Sad, But True. Well I Guess That Wraps This Up (:
